Taking into account these criteria of the Spanish Government, the ordinary examinations can be carried out at the CAV on 6, 7 and 8 July, and the special examinations on 20, 21 and 22. In Navarre, the usual and extraordinary ones will be held at the end of June in the second half of July, at dates still to be determined. However, the Department of Education of the Government of Navarra has not ruled out that the tests are delayed to September.
"Both the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training and the Universities and Autonomous Communities know that the course is being complicated for the teaching staff of the 2nd of Baccalaureate and especially for the students of this course, due to the school interruption caused by the coronavirus," explains the note sent by the Ministry.
In addition, the Government of Madrid and the Autonomous Communities have agreed to "modify the model and content of the tests to ensure that access to the university is performed under parameters of justice and equality, so that students do not suffer any harm because they have not worked in the classroom some block of contents of a subject".
The Ministry of Universities has sent a full statement explaining how the examination is going to be. In general, the educational authorities have explained that the main objective is that "no student lose the academic year" and that no one suffers damage as a result of the state of alarm. As for the new examination, it does not depart from the models that universities have made available to students and faculty for the current course.
Possibility of answering questions to the letter
The examination will last as planned. It is intended to give students more than one option in the themes, to choose which questions to answer up to a maximum grade of 10, "although in classroom classes part of the subject curriculum has not been developed, no question or question will be obligatory". That is, you can ask about the whole course, but the student can choose not to answer questions about content that have not been given in class. The universities have also made it clear that sufficient questions will be offered to ensure that the maximum score can be reached in each block.
