In 2013, the Lapurdi 1609 association had already published a book with the objective of remembering the facts, and looking “through folklore”. In addition, they had proposed to the people of Sara the possibility of lifting a memorial or a tombstone. With the assent, Inaki Iriarte, the young man of Sara, dedicated himself to the size. On the other hand, every two years, the Writers' Congress honours someone, this year they have decided to make four birds with two stones.
