120 writers, 25 publishers and fifteen associations will be present at the fair, the organizers expect a large number of people. Since last year, the Conference has gone from being held for one day to being held twice, and will be held again this year.

The program consists of olfactory events. Every year, people from the Kutur area will be honored. The Awards section features two people:The poet Auxtin Zamora, main promoter of the poetry initiative Hatsa and the historian Jean-Claude Larronde.

The senper Auxtin Zamora will receive the first prize, but he considers himself a mediator of the poetry project Hatsa: “I’m just an animator.” This year, on April 8th, the 20th book of Hatsa will be published in Senpe.

Spanish Dictionary of Sara

There are many literary genres every year. But this year, a dictionary will capture the attention of visitors. The linguist Koldo Zuazo has published the Spanish dictionary of Sara. Zuazo has collected 4,236 words in the book: “There is no such thing in the north. There are only four of them in the South.”

Sara's school made a great name for the Basque language in the 17th century. Zuazo wants to bring and preserve the rich level of the hour in the 21st century.

Budget of EUR 20,000

Sara's office has a budget of $20,000. It is supported by the Casa del Pueblo de Sara and the Basque Cultural Organization (EKE). EKE contributes 3,000 euros each year. Jean-Baptiste Laborde-Lavignette complains about Sara's affair in front of the media: “With this budget we have not been able to retain the worker of the last two years.”

Up to now, 95% of this worker's salary has been paid by the French State, i.e. contracts which have guaranteed the work of new young workers: “Macron’s government has stripped us of all CAE contracts.” In the words of the mayor, “The Sara Conference needs another recognition, the work done so far deserves more than that little money.”
