The confinement has not stopped male violence, as the feminist movement has already warned from the outset. With the beginning of the week two new attacks have been known, one in Santurtzi (Bizkaia) and another in Mutriku (Gipuzkoa).
On Monday it was learned that at dawn a woman had suffered an aggression in Santurtzi by her former sentimental partner. Apparently, his partner was holding confinement in the same house to share the custody of his children.
After being aware of the aggression, the Ertzaintza was on the spot and the 37-year-old man was arrested.
Also in Mutriku, where several sexual assaults, including several women, have been reported for sexual assault. According to the feminist group of EMA Mutriku, the aggressions have been carried out continuously and in real time, "including cyberbullying on social networks".
Feminist collectives from both peoples have called for several Cazuelas on Tuesday to show their rejection of the Machian aggressions that have taken place.
In Santurtzi, the protest was called by the Marimatraka Feminist Group and by the Feminist Gazte Erraiak. He has called on the citizens to participate in the cacerolada from the windows and balconies of his house at 19:00.
The Mutriku Feminist Group EMA has also called a saucepan as a protest, at 21:00 hours.
