Four young homosexuals from Donostia-San Sebastian have taken part in a video uploaded to their Twitter channel to talk about how they beat them. The video has set an example of a person who has been nicknamed Julbit. Although it has been quickly removed from social networks, a user has managed to record a fragment of it and uploaded the video to Twitter. The young man, threatened with death, Julbit has denounced the attack on this social network and has had extensive coverage on the network and in some media.
“How many homosexuals do you think you can go down?” asks a boy in the Spanish video. “What is going down?” her friend says. “Kill with your hands.” The conversation has been recorded between laughs, and it tells you how gay people would be punched. Video on social media lasts less than 40 seconds. This is not an original recording, as the four young people have removed the video that they have uploaded to Twitter. However, a user has saved a piece of it and uploaded it to his Twitter account.
The video tells of a young Donostia named Julbit. It was Julbit himself, through his Twitter account, who filed a complaint against threats. He explained that he knows these four boys and that they have always insulted him, but that he has never taken his words seriously. So far. The one now has been "excessive": “I’m not going to let some donkeys laugh when they talk about playing ‘puppets’ and they record as ridiculous.” In addition, Julbit has denounced that the four boys believe they have "freedom" for these kinds of threats to be made "unpunished." The message, disseminated by Julbit, has had great support among the users of the social network Twitter.
This is not the first time that the four young people of Donostia-San Sebastian have made some video of this kind. According to El Diario Vasco, in the previous video that has been uploaded to the Twitter channel, young people have also made insults against homosexuals. “What’s better, a breast cancer vaccine or a gay vaccine? they ask, and they say homosexuals are "very sick."
On June 28, the LGTBIQ+ day was celebrated and several demands were made to denounce the attitudes that are taking place against this group. There are still many threats and insults. According to the media, Irutxuloko Hitza, another young Donostia has denounced the aggression he suffered a couple of days ago on the occasion of International Pride Day. He was reportedly sitting with a girl in an Alderdi Eder chair, and a man, brother of a acquaintance, sat next to him. He tried to touch her, called her "maricona" and told her that she was going to kill her. The girl spit at him, and then the man began to hit the two friends with the clothes.
A similar attack occurred in Basauri, in the Biscayan municipality of Basauri, just a month earlier. On June 3, 23-year-old Ekain Perrino was stabbed by thirteen young people screaming for “dirty Marikoi”. As a result of the beatings, the man had to be transferred to the hospital with a cranio-encephalic trauma with a reserved prognosis.
