In his words, “it should be noted that being a written press prize, you do not reward a great report or interview, a selection of juicy articles, a thin pen of a believer… but some covers, a way to make covers. And that's journalism, too."

“Those around us have to suffer the Sundays’ covers,” he added. “Colleagues, family and friends. We've taken our children to the skin, drawings of our children, parents ... We also made a colleague dress up as a priest. We ask our fellow mugs and shoes. With risk of breakage and soiling. Because we really like to break things and keep them.”

“Don’t think we have amazing means and production to make the skins. Most of the time these are artisanal works. The hallways and parking and the prairies of the Martin Ugalde Cultural Park are our studies. We try to deal with the lack of resources with imagination and determination.”
