Concentrations to condemn the machista murder of Rebeca Huayta and steps to repatriate the body
- Rebeca Huayta, convened by the World March of Women of the Basque Country, held concentrations on 29 December in Bilbao, San Sebastián and Pamplona to denounce the male murder of the 45-year-old woman. December 30 in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
In the last two decades, Rebeca Huayta, with her sister, daughter and former husband, came from Bolivia. Rebeca's body was found on the morning of December 28 in a bar in the neighborhood of Errekalde and his partner Leonel B.T. (44 years) is detained as the perpetrator because he called the Municipal Guard to indicate that he killed Huayta. She is the fifth woman killed by male violence in Euskal Herria in 2022.

The concentration of Vitoria-Gasteiz will be held on December 30 at 19:30 in the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca.
