The PSN creates a manager at Estella
- Last Monday, when the motion of censure against Navarre Suma was known, the PSN expelled two of the three councillors who supported the motion from the party. The manager has already been established in the Gipuzkoan locality.
According to the agreement of the two councillors of EH Bildu, Geroa Bai and PSN, the motion of censure will be held on the 24th. That will bring Koldo Leoz, from EH Bildu, to the mayor until March 1, 2022, and then Jorge Crespo Ganuza, expelled from the PSN, would take the baton of command.
From the outset, the PSN has denounced the motion of censure and the attitude of its two councillors, Jorge Crespo himself and Magdalena Hernández, and has described them as transfused. These, on the other hand, do not accept it, claiming that they have fulfilled the mandate of 70% of the PSN assembly in Estella and that they have not changed party. Jorge Crespo himself has so far been the secretary general of the PSN of Estella, with the support of PSN.
As announced on Monday, Wednesday, the PSN appointed a manager to lead the party, headed by María Sanz de Galdeano. The meeting involved 30 people, according to the PSN, and all agree that the agreement with the PSN is the same. At the end of January, the former leadership of the people left out of office Ibai Crespo, the third councillor who does not accept the motion of censure. In addition, 70 per cent of the affiliate assembly passed a motion of censure against the NS, according to which they have now been expelled. According to the first direction, there are 67 members in the locality and they have the support of 42 and their detractors of 16.
The SNP secretary at yesterday's meeting, Ramón Alzorriz, has assured us that there is no problem in reaching budgetary agreements with EH Bildu, as they have done in Berriozar, but that they will not govern with that political force, which is very different.
It is not the first scandal that the PSN has in the people, let alone. As in other localities in Navarre, the party has already been greatly reduced in Estella in the past. As in all Navarre, in the last municipal elections the PSN of Estella won a councilor, while in Navarre he was elected mayor. The popular candidacy close to Podemos had three councillors and on this occasion none.
The PSN makes a great effort to show that it does not govern with EH Bildu, and that is so, but it also governs in Navarre thanks to EH Bildu, and that is what Pablo Casado constantly reminds the PSOE in Madrid, and also with the Estella affair.
If the situation does not get worse, the motion of censure will go ahead with the help of a councillor on the 24th. Navarra Suma has 8 councilors, EH Bildu 6, PSN 3 and Geroa Bai 1.
The Navarra Federation of Municipalities and Councils was born with the objective of "protecting and promoting their shared interests and local autonomy". A Communication Officer will soon be selected who will have to master Spanish and Basque.
