See if it is possible to bring the Basque to the center of the party. This year’s Plaza del Castillo concerts have been betting as dangerous as they are rewarding. Hitherto, Izaro, Chill Mafia and Zetak have become a great success. But for the fourth night, I don't know if you haven't come to grips with fatigue.
San Fermín Square is difficult. Gorka Urbizu's concert in this alleged eight-day collective delusion and frenzy has created contradictory feelings. As if it were too quiet, too late or causing a drop. In any case, by the time many fans are about to give one, waiting for a decision to be made on what to do.
The concert started with a concert in which the protagonist staged behind the bands. I'm not an understanding of music, but I'll dare to say it's a joy. Lately we have become accustomed to proposals with many stimuli, what Urbizu brings tends to the simple: melodies, clean voice, details of each instrument, short silences and colors that light up in a white fabric.
Another question was whether I would play only the songs from the first album. Or in other words, it would offer us a song by Berri or not. And yes, but not just. Lekunberri's has made gestures and tributes to many projects in his career. Peiremans, Katamalo and, of course, Berri Txarrak have also participated in the voice of Gorka Urbizu. And also, a few bonus tracks that I'm not going to mention if there are those who haven't yet seen the concert. It is also true that many of us have thought that some of the songs of Initiation Bat might have been those that had been left out of the previous projects.
But for many precisely that is what disappointment is going to be. You'd expect something from the expectation of what it's not. A few have left before the end of the action. We've also seen the tears of others. One (more) couple kissing. Ambulatory suppliers – whom I also thank very much for their cold – Listeners grab on their shoulders and sing. A group that's playing to taste.
Maybe it's not the most massive concert or the most dancing. But it has been, as we say, a moment. And that's also worth it. Nothing else.
