On more than one occasion I have heard the oldest in the area: in the best place of pine, the first period of pine is very good; the second is worse; and on the third, after removing their best pine forests to the earth, the saddest pines stand out. But without going into these logical constants, and in the absence of a deeper reflection than the moment in demand, the Council which directs forestry policy tells us that it is going to go down the same road: to throw the sick and to promote new plantations. By extending the current appropriations for aid... but for what? Without opening more options, without giving more information and advice, to throw it back at the same paint? Or, worse still, to precipitate pieces of eucalyptus that no one doubts its grave consequences on the earth? Beware! We want and need living forests!
Without realizing that nature is also stubborn, thinking that the solution comes from technology, it is about intensifying research and looking for more resistant pines... Or to do an air spray! ! Have the effectiveness and potential damage to such an uncertain disease in the whole environment been balanced? In order to deal with the present chaos and to prevent a few (aireadores or landowners) from making easy use of the confusing situation, we need prompt and reasonable short-term responses.
But if, despite the great resources, they are granted to continue under the same conditions, they cannot get out of the failed path. That is why, together with the emergency measures, it is time to stop, start a deep reflection and look for alternatives in the medium and medium term, starting from the gaps in current forestry policies, to build a new forestry policy. And for that, the ball is in the roof of the administration, from the closest, from the municipalities and to the government! It is clear that this cannot be dealt with by the sector alone.
In order to move towards a forestry industry closer to nature, in addition to economic profitability, we must seek ecology and culture. Action co-financed with the money of all and for the benefit of all, both forest owners and citizens in general, and which will have real public values. And also in decision-making, we should listen to everyone’s voice!
There is no bad tree! The question is where, how much, for what and how they are planted, cared for and thrown… It is time to know, organize and put into practice new opportunities and examples to boost information, training, diversity. The hole of the sections cut to fill them with color.

And for another year, the unions have organized prefabricated strikes for us. And we, individually, will decide whether or not to join the strike, without the need for any assembly at the school.
The strike model that I was taught is no longer in vogue, it seems. In my... [+]
Life surrounds everything, it is limited and fragile. To live good lives, it seems to me that the body knows what to do, while the mind, although it knows (when it is well informed), often sees the body deliberately silence. In this silence the mind opens itself to relations... [+]

Since Benito Lertxundi, who told us that he will leave the scenes for ever, we have been there for several weeks, and since then many of us have felt orphans in one way or another, with a sense of loss or abandonment, sad. To Iruindarro, at least, we will remain forever honored... [+]
There are three knots that complicate our coexistence in the Basques, and for many years, despite our patience and determination, we are unable to break free from these ties. There are at least three knots of the moment: prisoners, Basque, immigrants.
