The pensioners welcomed on Saturday many towns and capitals of the CAV and Navarra.Los protesters urged the Basque Government and the Government of Navarra to “address and defend the issue of pensions”. Thousands of people gathered at different points in Hego Euskal Herria.Se opened the call to “exercise all the competences that are at your fingertips to ensure decent pensions,” according to Hala Bedi.
Several members of the social movement joined the demonstrations: feminist movements and youth organizations, among others. They also called for the general strike to take place in January 2020, and announced more mobilizations for December.
Moreover, they have resumed on Monday in many villages, in the context of the usual protest.
