Patxi López removes references to police racism from the journal of a committee of the Spanish Congress
- The President of the Commission for Social and Economic Reconstruction of the Congress of Deputies, Patxi López, has withdrawn the statements of ERC Deputy Marta Rosique from the journal. In López' opinion, "it is not true and it is an insult".
The chair of the Commission for Social and Economic Reconstruction that meets in Congress, Marta Rosique, has denied the references made by the ERC deputy to police racism. The Catalan Member has warned that: “People are also dying of racism in the Spanish State.”
The statements were not to López's liking, who, despite the protests of the ERC Member, decided to withdraw him from the Congress' Journal. Despite the fact that the racism of the Spanish governments has not reached the level of Trump, Rosique said that "they have turned deaf ears and allowed racism to continue to be perpetuated".
López, who interrupted the Member, said that "murder by racism" has to be ratified by a court, "if not, it is not true". And if it’s not true, as it’s insulting, it will disappear from the essays newspaper,” Obama added.
