In the case of Parot and Esnal, if justice does not change attitude, Bake Bidea announces an even greater response
- Nearly 2,000 people participated last July 23 in the blockades called Paths of Peace, claiming the conditional release of Jakes Esnal and Jon Parot. They appreciate the participation and the impact that has been achieved and are evident at the next meeting: on 22 September, French justice will decide on the situation of the two Basque prisoners.
The participants in the disobedience actions on Saturday aimed at 15 blocking points. In total, there have been 26 detainees who have caused the mobilizations: some must testify to the prosecutor ' s substitute, others to the Baiona Criminal Court and others to the Dax Criminal Court. French justice could also take action against the Road to Peace.
The Peacemakers have highlighted the success of the blockades that have been carried out despite the fact that they are banned, but they are already ahead of 22 September, when French justice will decide whether Esnal and Parot will be released on parole. They have so far been repeatedly denied the petition, which has been held in custody for 32 years in France.
