Stop the Gaza Massacre! Thirty agents, trade unionists, artists, associations and others have called for a demonstration under the motto “The Solution and Peace for Palestine”. LAB and EH Bai have also joined the quote by social and political actors. The demonstration will start at 16:00 from Plaza de los Vascos.

The signed declaration reads as follows: "As members of civil society, we cannot and do not want to stand idly by. Although the road between the bombing of Gernika and the declaration of Aiete has been long, in Euskal Herria we have learned that a peace process is always possible. In the Middle East, this can and should go through a deescalation of violence." In addition to denouncing the French State's support for Israel, it also regrets the "systematic criminalisation that is suffering positions of solidarity and/or negotiation with the Palestinian people".

The organization has made public five demands:

1: We call for an immediate ceasefire, an end to all attacks and a guarantee of the life and safety of civilians.

2: We also call for an end to the siege of Gaza and, in general, to the threat to Palestinian territory, and for humanitarian aid to be made available before and before.

3: We express the right of the Palestinian and Israeli citizens to live in peace.

4: We urge all parties and the international community to seek a peaceful and negotiated solution, based on international law and strict implementation of United Nations resolutions.

5: We express the need to initiate a process of dialogue to achieve a just, stable and sustainable peace, to put an end to the colonization of Palestine and to guarantee the right of self-determination of peoples under international law."
