Members of the Youth Organization have pointed out that “the lives of young people have been characterized by precariousness” and that, beyond the “bad conditions” linked to employment, uncertainty, lack of assiduity and insecurity have prevailed in all areas of the lives of young people: “Projecting and constructing a project of dignified and emancipated life has become impossible and we know that this is not transit or conjunctural”.

For this reason, they explained that it is necessary to "close all the doors to precariousness as soon as possible" and called for a mobilization for 16 February: “National mobilization will start from the Iberdrola Tower. We will take the streets of Bilbao to stop the precariousness and claim that we want to live in Euskal Herria”.

Following an analysis of the situation in the dossier of Fighting Coordinates of the Present, Ernai members affirm that the network of contacts started in Gazte Bira has been growing and expanding. After sharing the “gravity of the situation” with different agents, groups or people from Euskal Herria, they have reaffirmed in their hypotheses: “We need to put an end to the precariousness of our lives in all areas. But we are clear that it is a collective struggle.”

For this reason, they have insisted that, collectively, it is necessary to “ignite alarms” and “close the doors” to precariousness, and for this, the work in the towns and neighborhoods will be essential: to work the problems of the local spaces, to share situations, to open new paths…
