Increasing initiatives against the mandatory health pass

According to the Kazeta media, throughout the weekend the Bagabiltza de Baigorri and Garazi Congress has carried out several initiatives to denounce the mandatory health pass. In fact, as of 30 September, citizens over the age of 12 cannot enter some public places unless they certify the certificate, among other things, in the media. To denounce this, ten members of Bagabiltza Biltzarra have occupied the mediatheque of Donibane Garazi without presenting passes in the afternoon of 16 October. First, at the hospital in Izpura, 45 people concentrated and from there they went to occupy the mediatheque in the demonstration.
At the time of closure, around 18:30 hours, the gendarmes moved to the site and asked for eviction. There they remained until 20:00 hours, demanding: Talk to the chief of staff of the Baiona subprefecture and the mayor of San Juan de Pie de Puerto, Lauren Inchauspe. With the latter they managed to arrange a meeting for 19 October.

In early September he started organizing Ezpass! Where are we going? They are collectives and currently they are about 45 people, who meet in weekly meetings and who are designed to organize by people. According to journalist Iurre Bidegain Elisabeth Charriaux, the imposition of the health step, although presented as a solution, is "absolutely political": "This pass is the visible part of a policy that wants to turn the social contract into a social credit! The Pass further eliminates the ability to coexist and the sense of the community that we have weakened the call." Cheers! Where are we going? Regarding the collective, he explained that the group itself is political, because "wants to participate in the life of the city", but does not support any political party.
Charriaux is not in favour or against vaccination. The journalist Bidegain explained that the objective of this group is "to offer a space of freedom where citizens can debate without stigmas". It aims to ensure the plurality of information, analysis and opinions and, in this sense, seeks to seek new ways and solutions 'not only insertion', taking into account the crisis of life. In addition, it aims to overcome the "social division and segregation" generated by vaccination and to work on social cohesion. 'To help implement new forms of solidarity and alternatives in a broader model,' he added.
