To build the present from the Basque... Young people running to Plentzia!
- As every two years, the Korrika returns to our land. To the young people we dream of in an Euskaldun people, it is essential that this initiative be placed in our head, even every two years, at the centre. It wasn't just any wager in its time. In 1980, the idea that had begun in the previous years in the round table of a bar began, and thus one of the major initiatives for the Euskaldunization of this people was launched. This has marked a turning point in the construction of Euskal Herria and it is essential for us to understand the current reality of Euskera.
For the young people we dream of in another Basque country, it is essential that the Basque country be permanently in the centre of our mind.
And that's where we are. It is not so long ago that the young people of Bizkaia joined us in the Market of Portugalete and began to reflect on the Basque country. Let's give! We scream and meet one day more than 100 young people analyzing our lives, our militancy and our daily lives. Awareness of the importance of languages in the construction of worlds.
And, after all, there we are, in the clash between two worlds, in the clash between two worlds that also burns in this country. A clash between globalisation, homogenisation, construction for the few and, ultimately, between capitalism and solidarity, between diversity and the Basque working class that forms the majority of our people. And of course, we were in it exploring, working and exploring the potential of Euskera to build a people for most.
And as we said, as happened every two years, the Korrika comes back to our land. The young people of Bizkaia see it essential to make our contribution, both to the Basque Country and to the Korrika, which was born to die. We know that the people we want, whatever their reflection, whatever their front, the Euskaldun and built from the Basque Country, are necessary.
Therefore, we turn to all those who militate in Basque groups, feminist groups, free time groups, precarious assemblies, party commissions, youth assemblies, etc., to deepen the relationship between each specific struggle and the Basque one; to you, who are the ones who are able to set in motion dynamics like ours to all the Basque and Basque people of different places. We encourage you to participate in the Gazte-Kilometroak that is to be held in Plentzia. 10 April at 19:00 at the Plentzia Metro Exit.
