With the creation of the Olatukoop network for nine years, as every year, the Penetration Day has been organised to promote relations between the members of the transforming economy. This Saturday the appointment took place at the Montehermoso cultural center. The main objective will be "to establish relations with agents who wish to approach the Transformative Social Economy in Vitoria and Álava", they explain.
The members of Olatukoop will present the genealogy of the network and its current situation, and then analyze how they can respond to the challenges of the territory through the Transforming Social Economy.
"In Vitoria and Álava it is also important to start an economy that puts life at the centre and weave and sewing all kinds of agents," explains the people who are working on the organization of Olatukoop Penetration Day.

Aware of initiatives for migrant rights
But besides talking about the challenges of the transformative economies, on 10 June in Vitoria-Gasteiz you will be able to learn about different experiences. Thus, the Catalan collective Migress will explain the initiative he takes in Barcelona. Migress focuses on migration and the solidarity economy and promotes social diversity and the fight against racism, based on the defence of the rights of migrants and refugees.
On the other hand, Montehermoso will also explain the lines of the cooperative entrepreneurship initiative KoopFabrika from the South, called Koopfabrika, a cooperative entrepreneurship program aimed at migrants.
One of the major projects developed by Olatukoop with other actors is KoopFabrika, a programme created in 2017 with the aim of boosting social entrepreneurship and which is currently underway.
