OlatuKoop celebrates its fifth anniversary in Donostia-San Sebastian, a city in which he was born in 2014. It will be on June 14, in the Doka room, from 19:00. Besides knowing the network and having the opportunity to eat a bite, attendees will be able to enjoy music concerts.

Solidarity among its members, the welfare of society and its economic activities emerged as a “contribution to the common heritage”. Since then, it has been growing and constantly organizing, both internally and to maximise the transformative economy, both through training projects for social entrepreneurship and through the creation of regional nodes. There are already several dozen cooperatives and Community companies involved in one way or another.

 

 

 

 

First Basque Congress of Transformative Economy Meeting

The network will take a step further in the traditional annual meeting to socialize and share the project of OlatuKoop and the First Transformative Economy Meeting of the Basque Country. He organized a meeting in Hendaia on 21 June, in collaboration with different agents from Ipar Euskal Herria.

The meeting was presented this Wednesday by OlatuKoop, the employment center of the House of the People of Hendaia, the Andere Nahia Association and representatives of the cooperative Atelier Lan Berri. The programme will analyse, inter alia, the contribution of the transformative economy to the creation of sustainable employment through Gaindegia data and will learn about the Translanekin project, which seeks to provide a digital service for cross-border labour mobility.

 

 

 

 

This first meeting will begin at 9:30 in the morning and will continue until noon.
