The laws will significantly transform the litigation concerning the occupation of housing. The terms of the law

If, as of Thursday, a dwelling is deemed to have been "usurped" or used "violently" to gain access to it, the matter will be dealt with more quickly and, therefore, the sentence will be imposed for a maximum of fifteen days - the days will be valid from the moment the judge acquires all the necessary documentation. However, both parties will have to start a negotiation before going to court in order to find a solution outside the judicial channel.

In the case of working families with children, the Parity Act will be strengthened. Dismissals will now be abolished for workers who are applying for or taking advantage of an adapted day of care for their children under 12 years of age. It also establishes a system for workers to try to avoid systematic corporate defaults. Workers who suffer delays of more than fifteen days or three defaults in the same year will be able to leave their job and receive compensation, according to Gedar.

As for the tourist apartments, it modifies their regulation. The owners will need the approval of the community to direct a dwelling for tourist activity, and at least three-fifths of the neighbors will have to give their consent. In addition, powers are transferred to the local authorities, which may then request the suspension of tourist activity in cases where tourist apartments operate without an appropriate municipal licence.

As in the case of the occupation, consumers and financial institutions will have to initiate a negotiation procedure in cases of abusive mortgage clauses before filing a lawsuit in court.
