Tertulias “How to remember, how to tell the Basque conflict” in Pamplona
- Next Saturday, 23rd, there will be a conference at the headquarters of the Laba association of Pamplona, in number 2 of the Plaza del Castillo, organized by the associations Laba and Karrikiri and the editorial Maiatz.
“It’s been very hard. An interview and a round table under the title “How to remember, how to tell the Basque conflict”. From 10:00 to 11:15 hours, ARGIA journalist Xabier Letona will interview the writer Emilio López Adam in the book published this year by López Adam: The armed struggle in the Basque Country 1967-2011. These three volumes were distributed in the years 1967-1980, 1981-1990 and 1991-2011. Also in Larrun we published a long interview with him.
After a short break, the round table will start at 11:30 hours. The writer Emilio López Adam, researcher Maider Premio, historian Emilio Majuelo and researcher Samara Velte will discuss how the Basque conflict in the Basque Country can be remembered and recounted.
