The replica of the ship that sailed around the world arrived in Getaria on Thursday. It was built in Seville in 1991, "V of the Discovery of America. It was organized by the Government of Spain to celebrate the "Centenary" on the occasion of the "Expo 92". The Nao Victoria Foundation has been managing it ever since, and it runs around many of the world’s docks as a paid museum. It will be in Getaria until August 8, after which it will be in Bermeo, Mutriku, Lekeitio, Santurce and Bilbao until September 11.

The World Tour, launched by Magellan in 1519 and completed by Elcano in 1522, is considered the most important maritime expedition in history on the website of the Nao Victoria Foundation. - They discovered the way from Spain to the island of Spices. Nao Victoria came back full of spices.
- They started a "huge transoceanic trade flow", definitively connecting Europe, America and Asia.
