The Vice-President of the Government of Navarra, Javier Remírez, has announced the decisions of the Government. The main current prohibitions and restrictive measures will be maintained until 18 December: Community confinement, closure of hospitality, curfew between 23:00 and 6:00, prohibition of meeting in the public space of more than six people and in homes with people outside the unit of cohabitation. Remírez, however, has left open the possibility of “flexibilizing” from November 26 if the data are positive, citing as an example the opening of terraces.
Bridges and Christmas
President María Chivite spoke today in the Chain of Being. The data on contagion has been positively valued, but has asked the public for “prudence and patience”: “It is true that we have managed to lower the positive curve. The downward trend is evident and continuous over the past two weeks, but we must be careful, because long holidays come, you don’t want to relax.” Lehendakari said that the relaxation of bans after the first wave became "too fast" and that the same mistake should not be repeated.
In this context, lehendakari has announced that the community will remain confined to the special holidays to be held between 29 November and 8 December. For Christmas, on the other hand, it envisages that bans and restrictions should be made more flexible: “It is clear that this Christmas we are not going to see celebrations or mass dinners. Surely not the whole family can be around the table, but we will try to alleviate the measures as far as the gathering of people who do not belong to the same house is concerned.”
