In the second quarter of 2021, 41 housing kidnappings have occurred in the CAV. Between April and June 2020 there was no embargo, due to the ban on the state of alarm. However, despite the stop, the figures have increased: in the Autonomous Community there have been 28 more kidnappings than in 2020 (an increase of 215%); in Navarre there has been an increase of 100%. This has been stated by the National Institute of Statistics (INE) in a report published this Tuesday on its website.
Of the 68 foreclosures produced in the CAPV, 5 correspond to rural estates and 22 to urban estates such as offices, garages and storage rooms. Most, however, have been housing: The figure has risen to 41, including 40 homes occupied by natural persons. In the case of Navarre, the death toll has been 30. In the Spanish State, a total of 3,243 executions or sales embargoes have been recorded in the second four-month period (the highest number since the first four-month period of 2017). Navarre and the CAV (together with La Rioja) have been the communities with the lowest figures, in the Cantabria section (37).
