In a note sent to the media, pp members say that everyone has the right to speak "in whatever language they like", although Ana Beltrán believes there are reasons for this. On the one hand, he considered that speaking Basque is "a lack of respect" for those who speak Spanish, "when they are the parliamentary majority, and, of course, also for Navarre society". On the other hand, he says that they do not understand what they are told in Basque. He also pointed out that Parliament is in the mixed area and that the Basque country is not official and that the Basque country is not.

Beltrán has denounced that "by Aznárez's decision" Euskera is used "excessively" in the Basque chamber. And also, "especially in plenary sessions." That "hinders" your work. For this reason, he has asked the pp to "always do it in Spanish", either in writing or verbally, when he has to address it.
