Young people have met in Mercaderes on Tuesday at 18:00 in the afternoon to learn about the events of the morning and make decisions in the next few hours. Protesters have assured that they have suffered a "disproportionate" police presence throughout the day and have called the central government to be held accountable. On Wednesday, a representative of the neighbours of the Casco Viejo will go to the government delegation in Navarre and to the Department of Presidency, Justice and Interior of Navarre, respectively, to denounce the situation.
“They want us to throw away”
“They don’t want to inspect, they want to get us out of there,” Gaztetxe Marvels members said in the afternoon assembly. The officers of the Foral Police have denounced that the building is being evicted. In particular, the Ertzaintza has mobilized refrigerators, mattresses and gas pumps in the fire area. In principle, the Audience of Navarra authorized them to inspect the state of the building, but in view of the material removed, the members of the gaztetxe claim that they have gone further.
The Minister for Citizen Relations, Ana Ollo, spoke on Tuesday morning: “When the technicians have accessed the building there was no one, so there has been no eviction.” In addition, he has acknowledged the work of the Foral Police of Navarra, who are "to prevent incidents". However, when asked about the future of gaztetxe Marvels, he did not want to give details: “The steps to be taken will be following a more detailed analysis and review of the technical and Foral Police reports.” As recently reported by Euskalerria Irratia, according to the technical report, the electrical installation of gaztetxe "is not in perfect working condition".
The Alde Zaharra initiative condemns Ollo's statements: “They try to deny the indisputable.”
At 17:00, two members of the Gaztetxe, accompanied by their lawyer, have asked the Police to access the gaztetxe. However, it rejected the proposal by considering that "they are not authorised to do so", according to the same source. The lawyer has therefore made it clear: “They are making a dismissal.”

Navarrería, closed
Since Tuesday morning, the Foral Police has closed the entire Navarrería area. It has been reported that the area ' s neighbours have been asked to identify each time they wanted access to their homes, and furthermore, not all local businesses have been able to open their doors. The exact time limit for the presence of police forces is unknown, although it has been noted in the People's Assembly that it could be extended until next Thursday.
Incidents after the People's Assembly
After the meeting, a noisy Kalejira has begun with the motto “Marvels aurrera”. When they approached the Gaztetxe area, however, they met the Foral Police. The incidents have occurred mainly on Karmen Street. The agents have fired with rubber balls, which have not been injured. The wounded have been transferred to the Hospital Complex of Navarra, although there are no further details on the number and situation of the wounded.
