The Minister of Sport and Culture of the Government of Navarra, Rebeca Esnaola, explained that they have launched the campaign because they are convinced that practicing sport and exercising is more necessary than ever.
The Managing Director of the Sport of Navarra, Miguel Pozueta, has highlighted the work carried out during the summer by sports associations and sports teams.
Now everything is coming to fruition in the face of the new course. These are the days of multiple meetings: next week the protocol of state-level sports will be finalized and from next week we will talk with all the federations in Navarre to launch the sports games in October.
Miguel Pozueta pointed out that they consider it very necessary to make it easier for children and young people to practise sport in the areas of security.
And Miguel Pozueta wanted to clarify one point: The Department of Education said that they should not conduct after-school activities in schools and many people have understood that there will be no sport, but that is not the case. The centres will not organise anything, but the associations of parents and sports teams will. Protocols are now being defined and training may be done in small groups at first, they will not be able to use the changing rooms and there will surely be no spectators in competitions within the room. Measures of this kind are being studied, but the priority is to launch sport and encourage all citizens to engage in sport and physical exercise.
