Nafarroa Berriz Altxa, new political movement
- Nafarroa Berriz Altxa is the new movement created in the Basque Country. They were presented in May and will continue with a demonstration and a political act on 19 June.
In the group’s demands is the mark of a 500th anniversary: It was in 1512 when Castile materialized the Conquest of Navarra, but in 1521 there was a revolt in several localities, and later organized the battle of Noáin, and 1522.an the resistance continued on the site of Amaiur. The facts date back to five centuries.
The manifesto shared by the group reads as follows: "After 500 years of succession in Spain, many sectors of Navarre society want to regain sovereignty today, because it is a necessary instrument to change the current situation, and so be able to decide freely on everything that affects us in our daily lives: education, health, labor relations, Euskera, pensions, taxation, housing, equality and why not, our legal status and the relationship we want to maintain with the rest of the Basque countries.

The group has been presented with the names of the signatories to the manifesto, and as spokesman the Lesakarra Amagoia Susperregi has acted. Here's an interview with him in Erran.
The demonstration is scheduled for 19 June. The march, which will be held this Saturday, will start at 17.00 from the Antoniuti Park in Pamplona.
