LGTBI+ calls on the Government of Navarra to abandon care cuts
- The Government of Navarra has cut the budget for the Kattalingune partnership, dedicated to sexual and legal care for the LGTBI+ group: almost EUR 38,000 less. Kattalingune and LGTBI+ staff have warned of the disruption of service continuity so far. They believe that workers will be dismissed as a result of the reduction.

At the doors of the Parliament of Pamplona, Kattalingune workers, representatives of the LAB trade union and pro-rights agents of the LGTBI+ group have concentrated on Monday to expose the arguments of the protest. The budget that the service has had this year would also be short for next year, taking into account inflation, have not increased and have also reduced the subsidy for 2023.
The reduction took place in November, when the Equality Institute opened the public tender for the service contract. Furthermore, the contract worsens the conditions of workers, adding eight hours per week of work and increasing the workload.
Cuts would worsen service quality and working conditions
