More than 900 people have met in Itsasu on 4 July, in solidarity with Pamplona’s Mikel Barrios, residing in the Navarra locality. After touring the Labortana city, they have cut off the main road and elongated the cry: “We will continue to create a people without chains, building a society in which prison makes no sense and fighting for a food without oppression.”

On the same day, a demonstration was also held in Pamplona/Iruña convened by the initiative of Sare Izan bidea.
Barrios has been imprisoned since 29 June, after remaining on probation since 2018, and the Paris Correctional Tribunal has sentenced him to five years in prison.
