The announcement of redundancies, according to LAB, is the continuation of a process that the management is already in progress. “During these months the company has claimed the loss of workload, the oversized workforce, the remaining people and, once again, the loss of confidence in the Vitoria plant,” the union explained.
LAB points out that the only thing workers have done is to ‘defend their most basic democratic rights’: to mobilise for working conditions and to organise a referendum.
