The Euskarabildua day wants to demonstrate that in the face of dominant technological solutions, doing things differently, alternatives can be created, demonstrating that what seems utopian can become reality. To this end, he wishes to underline the strength of the fabric between local actors. In fact, in other areas, models of sovereignty are being worked out in different localities of Euskal Herria (e.g. in the areas of energy, telecommunications or surveillance). Similar models can also be applied in technology, understanding its cross-sectional linearity. In fact, this year’s edition aims to put this reflection on the table.
To this end, a round table on local sovereignty will be held. Leire Udabe of the Lakari cooperative, Josu Harismendy of Lau Haizetara Euskaltzaleon Topagunea, the mayor of the Town Hall of Arruazu, Gorka Ovejero, on behalf of the Sakananet project, and the mayor of the Town Hall of Hernjab, Xabier Lertxundi, on behalf of the project.
The Euskarabildua Day will be held on October 27 at the San Telmo Museum and is organized by ARGIA, together with the companies of the Iametza and Ametzagaiña group. Registration can be made via the website.
