MEFSST! Orión celebrates the festival of the return of the Feminist Musical Revolt
- The Feminist Musical Revolt MEFSST, which became an important date at the Zarautz Gaztetxe Putzuzuzulo, will return. It was the last in 2017 and will return six years later. The program will open this weekend at the previous party they have organized.
The gaztetxe de Orio has been the scene of the pre-party, which this Saturday aims to "heat the environment" and "make money". The program is completed with the release of the documentary Without your permission, the musical poteo directed by the Manuela sisters and the concerts starting at 21:30: Les Sauvage, Ithaka, DJ Soul Shouter and DJ Sargori.
In the gaztetxe of Zarautz there will also be a quote to make known last June 3 the program of the Feminist Musical Revolt MEFSST. However, the organization has documented that the environment that will prevail in this transfeminist plaza will be punk, punkrock, postpunk and rock. In addition to concerts and pintxos, a round table on creative processes and a fanzine workshop are being held.
Music lovers are at the base of the revolt, added to a series of needs and desires: "The presence of men in musical scenes or environments and some exclusive forms of occupation of the space often tire us, or we miss the tipa, the boll and other subjects, both on the board and in the public, in the organization and in the bars". That is why they wanted to relaunch the MEFSST meeting in a transfeminist space, "listen to music, dance, create, organize, know, reflect and have fun". However, organizers say that more and more groups and concert organizers have no male or at least. These groups will be in charge of directing the stage in the citations of both Orio and Zarautz.
