Meetings of Basque Mathematicians and Linguists
- Well, we've gathered them together in the title, but it's the Mathemarikari Euskaldunak Encounters on the one hand and the Basque Linguist Encounters on the other. But since the Basque Summer University (UEU) has now convened these conferences it organizes in summer within its summer courses, there is information (and there will also be a mathematician-linguist able to send communication to both).
This is the 6th edition of the Encuentro de Matemarikaris Euskaldunes, which will be held until April 12. The conference will be held on Monday 17 June in Eibar, within the Summer Courses 2024.
VII Basque linguists. The meeting will take place on 27 June in Katakrak, Pamplona. It will be initiated by researcher Borja Ariztimuño and then will be made brief communications of the participating researchers, each with their space for questions and answers. In this case a motto has been put to the meeting: Linguistic research today. Deadline for proposed communications 12 April.
These assemblies are held every two years. Another of the cyclical meetings held by the UEU, the Euskaldunes Congress of Informatics, also this year, in the autumn, but we will be reporting on that later.
