At a massive press conference on Friday, the Feminist Movement of Llodio reported that the City Hall has sentenced several members to a fine of 3,000 euros for a poster placed the day before 8 March.

"This decision made by the City Hall is no coincidence, since in recent years there have been many decisions and attitudes contrary to our militant activity," Laudio's women criticized. "We will continue to make the way and reaffirm ourselves in political militancy," added lehendakari.

Other groups have also conveyed messages of solidarity and support to Laudo’s feminist movement: "We know that Laudio City Hall is not a feminist, but we are not going to tolerate this attack of criminalization and punishment of political militancy," said the young feminist group Otsemeak of Amurrio.
