EITB Director Andoni Aldekoa has presented Makusi with EITB’s biggest technological effort following the creation of the Bikain platform last year. Aldekoa has said that Bikain has reached nearly 100,000 subscribers, which is a success, which is now being pursued with this children and youth platform. From the point of view of infrastructure, the technology of the Mediapro group is at the base of both Primeran and Makusi.
Makusi will have a varied audiovisual offer for children and young people: cartoons, series, films… and also own productions. Among them, they have presented today the clowning competition for the youngest Potx and Lotx; the current magazine for young people presented by Kalaxka or KLXK, Aritz Mendiola and Anepe Acedo; and the Power Up, the fiction in Basque, based on the world of video game. Every Friday a new section of these own contents is posted on the MAKUSI platform.
Makusi has age control systems available to parents and a "data sheet" for each content.
