Macron appoints Conservative Michel Barnier as Prime Minister

The elections were held eight weeks ago, on 7 July, and the New Popular Front (FHB), which brought together the left of the three main forces that were presented, won with only 193 Members, compared to the extreme right.
Lehendakari usually appoints the party's prime minister who has won the parliamentary elections, but this time he immediately said that he would not do so.
