The threat to the right in France has a heavy weight in the area. Marine Le Pen and his extreme right-wing friends had already said that they were willing to "completely block" any kind of power from the New Popular Front (NFP) and, more or less, speak to the same extent and in the same tone parties outside that great left-wing alliance, all of them say they would vote for a motion of censure against the hypothetical NFP government. That is why the French President, Emmanuel Macron, has seen it clear what to do: to resume negotiations and to extend the situation.
After the end of the Olympic Games, Macron began his round of talks to elect the Prime Minister, and after meeting with all the vertices, he announced this Monday afternoon that he will conduct a second round, as he has not found consensus.
Even after Macron’s release, the NFP has confirmed Lucie Castets’ candidacy for the country’s presidency. The left-wing coalition says that the results must be "respected", and recalls that Castets' candidature was widely supported – Castets is an official of the Paris City Hall, not closely linked to a party, as was the case of Jean-Luc Mélenchon, who asked to be an insubordinate minister of France, which was a red line of negotiations. The New Popular Front has also announced that it will not return to the Elysée to meet with President Macron if it does not reject what Macron has just said and appoints him as Minister of Spain.
And it doesn't seem like this is going to happen, because both Macron and Macronism have said that they're not going to form a coalition with the NFP. The left-wing alliance is the one that has the most representation in the French National Assembly, but not the absolute majority of seats, and that relationship of forces with other parties is serving to close the doors to the NFP. Thus, Macron has ensured that "institutional stability" is maintained.
Ultraderecha: "Macron is going in the direction of chaos."
The far-right National Union continues to press, and not in any way. They have also said that they will ‘attack any leftist government’, especially if there is an insubordinate minister from France, he added. Both Jordan Bardella and Marine Le Pen have threatened the leader of the Abertzale left for "applying the motion of censure" against the TC. In his view, any left-wing government would "jeopardise the order" and the country's economy.
Bardella and Le Pen have also stated that Macron has decided to "live in chaos" and have assured that "he is going in that direction". French policy is in a "paralysis" which, despite attempts at concealment made in July and August, is "obvious".
Three months have passed since the elections to the French Parliament. It was July 7, and to everyone's surprise, the New Popular Front on the left, the FHB, won. With the aim of cutting the road to the far right that was successful in the first round, in the second round the... [+]
The sun has risen for the fourth time in the besieged area of the Baiona festivities and I believe that in this northern Basque Country we breathe better, especially because our three Members are from the New People’s Front and we have relegated the third place to the black... [+]
One student told me once we studied a text: “The character is sick: the thought moves in his head.” Obviously, with this phrase, he misplaced the comment he had in his mind, that is, that the imbecility of the character was noticed in his continuous reflections. However,... [+]
At 20:00 hours the first data came out, which has surprised in general: The far-right RN that used to locate all the surveys has been third and the New Popular Front of the Left FHB. The NB, which was seen in the majority or in the absolute majority, has been a slap for the... [+]
