Larunbe himself has often told what happened that day in Pamplona/Iruña. At noon he went to his work and found himself on the way with the group of women who had gathered in front of the Parliament of Navarre. He took some pictures of them and stopped to chat with them. At the scene came police officers from the Foral Police who, pushing the women, forced them to leave the road.
Faced with these nudges, Larunbe raised his arms in a sign that it was enough, but one of them stumbled and fell to the ground with the banner. When he fell he grabbed Larunbe, who had also fallen. Three or four other policemen assaulted the woman and integrated her into the parliament.
His story is clearly seen in the images taken by a television channel, which have taken him over the Internet. It is clear that he did not attack the police, that he was calm with the group of women, that the police attacked the women and that Larunbe does not at any time show resistance or attack the police, let alone the police.
Many citizens and social partners have been surprised by the decision to bring Larunbe to court, when he has been attacked. In the court, the prosecutor maintains his initial request: Request for 15 months in prison. In the next video of Ahotsa.info you can see how Larunbe has entered the courts this Friday, accompanied by his friends and the Feminist Movement of the Region of Pamplona. And in the video that you can see below you can see the images of that day.
