The Baiona Court will examine today the complaint lodged by the Mayor of Arbona against Lurzaindia
- The mayor of Arbona, Marie-Josee Mielocq, filed a defamation complaint against the association working to protect agricultural land from speculation. The trial of these facts began on 10 November.
In 2018, Lurzaindia denounced that the house of the town of Arbona bought farmland 50 times more expensive than the market price and that to build homes. On this occasion, through a handsheet, the damage to the crop and the commitment to speculation were denounced. This was rejected by Marie-Josee Mielocq, Mayor of Arbona, who accused the association of defamation. The trial for these events will be held on 10 November at 14:00 in the Baiona courts and Dominique Amestoi, president of the Lurzaindia association, will be charged.
