The story of the theater starts from a burial. It will be installed in a small village in Baja Navarra for a summer. In an atmosphere of barking bells, cabals and dogs, between mountains, in an old estate indebted to the hill. The eldest son of the house will try to pay off his debts and do two things. Widowed dad, rich in rancid and fragile head, alcohol will help you cope with your daily life. The sister will come to spend the summer with the child and her husband, from the village where she holds the position of councillor to the hacienda, to search for her roots and to help the family as she can. They also have a younger sister, who slides into nonsense, with a great writing passion. The old neighbors, the new neighbors who have jumped out of town to the rural area, the ones who have a lot of prejudices -- and a tenant, with pocket money to repurchase the farmhouse.
"The land, the people of the land, the peasants, are at the center of our culture. The peasants have the knowledge and behaviors mentioned in the theater and seen in the tables". This is how the manifesto of the Lur theatre begins to explode. Axut will reflect the reality of the farmers! New works of the collective: "He talked about the difficulty of contact with a land (the prices of housing make agricultural land unaffordable); he talked about work, shame, humiliation; and pride of origin, which speaks the head; and he talked about the culture of the earth".
"Work is the key to truthfulness," says Axut. Collectives: "One third of peasants are trapped by poverty and every two days a peasant commits suicide. Although it is reported to be the most beautiful work in the world, it is an essential trade and it is the bed of our culture, why not look in the eyes? ".
