They present phones to denounce Machian and LGTBI+Phobic aggressions for the Vitoria festivities
- LGTBI+Phobic and Machistan aggressions are the most prevalent in public space, according to reports that these movements do every year. The Vitoria-Gasteiz Feminist Movement and the Lumagorri Association want a holiday model that puts everyone’s pleasure at the centre, and they have taken these steps to achieve that goal.
The Vitoria-Gasteiz Feminist Movement and the Lumagorri Association, during the festivities of Vitoria-Gasteiz, will make available to citizens the phones to denounce the Machian and LGTBI+Phobic aggressions. Both phones will be operational 24 hours a day throughout the holiday period, from 3 to 9 August.
The phone number that the Feminist Movement has launched to denounce the Machistan aggressions is 747 414 834. On the day following an attack on the phone, a repulsive rally will be called to denounce it publicly. This call will not be held in all cases, but in accordance with the characteristics of the aggressions and the will of the victim.
The Lumagorri partnership will manage the phone of attacks against LGTBI+phobia: 633 309 653. The cybersexism group has pointed out that most attacks on the LGTBI+ group occur publicly when the praise of masculinity and alcohol are combined.
