Lucas Agirre dismisses and condemns the murder in Hernani
- The young Hernaniarra who died of sastada at dawn on 25 December has been dismissed in his native town. They also use it to denounce the murder and not to repeat "continue sowing".
Lukas Agirre Izko, a young 24-year-old Hernanian who was stabbed to death on 25 December, was greeted on Thursday by friends, family and neighbours of his homeland. The group of friends and friends spoke with a fragile voice while holding the banner he had always written.
The mother took the opportunity to share “thank you and affection” with friends, neighbors, colleagues and citizens who supported them in those “terrible” days.
His friend recalled Lukas with the word “joy, ability to create, strength, joy” and said they will never forget him. He also encouraged the citizens who occupied the Plaza de los Gudaris de Hernani to write in the banner behind them, in honor of his friend. They were the ones who wrote, and they also took refuge in silence and applause.
They condemned the murder and recalled that work must continue in order not to repeat: “We only have to sow so that this does not happen again.”
Lukas Agirre was killed early on 25 December in San Sebastian with a sastada. In the same morning, three people were arrested by the Ertzaintza, two of them shortly after receiving the warning of the murder and the third was at the police station a couple of hours later. On Wednesday, the judge imposed a prison on that third party and freed the other two.
