Lesaka to host the Bertso Eguna 2025
- On January 25, Bertsos fans will celebrate their annual appointment at Plaza Nueva. The event is organized by the Bertsolaris School of Five Villas and the Bertsozale Elkartea association. It will start at 10:00 in the morning with an afternoon tour with a special festival of bertsos entitled XXI mende 25 (H)ilbeltz and after dinner you will enjoy the bertsos stalls with music. Tickets are already on sale.
The Bertso Eguna is a special annual event to bring together fans from all over Euskal Herria. In the past, a special bertsolaris festival was held in large closed rooms, followed by dinner and table meetings.
A few years ago the Bertsozale Elkartea association took the bertso out to the street in the Bertso Eguna, and started the program from the morning, thus adding more formats to sing bertsos, such as the bertso potes. Lengthening the program has meant more bertsolaris singing.
The annual quote is always different and the characteristics of the 2025 quote are as follows:
Programme 2025
At 10:00 hours the fans of the bertsos will meet and take the Oinez tour bidean from Harriondo. Next, a bertso-poteo will be performed, which will be sung by members of several bertsolaris schools.
At noon a lunch will be held in the Arrano Fronton, from 14:30 a.m.
In the afternoon the festival of bertsos XXI, 25 (H)ilbeltz will be held in Harriondo. These are the bertsolaris that will participate in the action: Alaia Martin Etxebeste, AMETS Arzallus Antia, Julio Soto Ezkurdia, Maddi Ane Txoperena Iribarren, Nerea Ibarzabal Salegi and Peru Abarrategi Sarrionandia. Alaitz Rekondo Ferrero will be responsible for presenting the subjects to which the programme will be devoted.
In the evening there will also be no lack of bertso. Dinner will begin at 20:30 a.m. in Atxuri. After dinner, you will be able to enjoy the musically assembled berts from the hand of Hor gu and Manex Pagola. Those who are not in a hurry to return home will extend the hours with the DJ who will act at the Arrano bar.

Both afternoon and dinner tickets are available on the portal bertsosarrerak.eus. The entry price is EUR 12, EUR 10 for Bertsozale Elkartea partners and EUR 8 for young people. The price of dinner is 36 euros.
