The Commission of Txozna de Leitza has published on social media a statement denouncing the fascist attacks of the festivities. They note that the first attack was on the night of August 9, when a txozna was attacked, they wrote the message “kill the terrorists” and launched a red painting on the outside of the txozna.
The following days passed without further attacks, but they report that on the night of August 15 they left a message at the door of the txozna. A message addressed to a citizen who directly threatened him and his family. "Don't sleep quietly, any day something can happen to your home," you can read in the message attached in the txozna.
The Commission of Txoznas de Leitza has declared the threatened population and its family “a total solidarity and support” and has denounced “the Spanish fascism that has attacked and continues to attack Euskal Herria”. The Commission underlines that it will not accept fascist attacks and that it will continue to fight for them not to happen again.
To denounce it they have made a massive appearance on Thursday night in the town square
