The fourth week in a row fuel prices increase in Spain
- Fuel prices have increased since the beginning of July. The last week, in the middle of the departure operation, has risen more than 2%.
Since April, fuel has the highest price in Spain. The average price of petrol has been set this week at EUR 1,650 per litre, 2.16% more than the previous one. Diesel fuel, meanwhile, stands at €1,501 per litre, 2.45% more expensive than the previous week.
A month ago the average price for petrol was EUR 1,591 per litre and diesel EUR 1,437 per litre. The data have been collected by the Europapress agency.
Before the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, it was not so expensive
The Russian invasion during the summer of 2021, at the most expensive time of petrol, was paid EUR 1,594 per litre and in the case of diesel EUR 1,479 per litre.
Last summer the highest prices were recorded: in July the price of petrol was EUR 2,141 per litre and that of diesel EUR 2,1 per litre.
