The 2024 Alavés Bertsolaris Championship arrives, which this year marks its 16th edition and is forty years since the first Alavés Championship. Following the route we represent in recent editions, the landscape that represents the summits of Alavese bertsolarism, the first stage of the championship with 18 bertsolaris has ended today, quarterfinals. The last session was held in Llodio.

Martín Abarrategui Sarrionandia (Aramaio)
Cosgaya by Izar Mendiguren - Llodio
Iñaki Viñaspre Simon - Abetxuko
Unai Anda Delika (Ametzaga)
Asier Otamendi Alkorta (Urretxu/Gasteiz)
In this first phase, 13 commendable verses have been sung. After all the exercises, Iñaki Viñaspre obtained the highest score, 263 points. The semi-finals shall be constituted in the order of the three-quarter finals. The scores were as follows:

Asier Otamendi: 251.5 points
Unai Anda: 251 points
Izar Mendiguren: 241.5 points
Martín Abarrategui: 233.5 points
Felipe Zelaieta: 214.5 points
For a group of thirteen people, Oier Azkarraga Grajales has been the host of Laudio. The first stage jury, quarter-finals, consists of: Ekaitz Elorriaga Anduaga, Aitor Jimenez Tolosana and Egoitz Iradier Martinez de Albeniz. Endika Jimenez Enbeita as secretary.
