The event took place last Wednesday in the port of Pasaia (Gipuzkoa). The 50-year-old carrier died after the fish he was transporting in the port was discharged. Apparently, he has come down from his truck's cabin while in the parking lot, asking for help through gestures. It is believed that the infarction may be the cause of death, but the man had a fever at the time of death, so they have activated the protocol against Covid-19. As a result, several port workers have been sent to their homes to be isolated.
The deceased worker, of British nationality, has died in the hospital. He was transporting in a truck the fish that the Pasaia boats had caught in the streets of Ireland. Transport is carried out by road so that boats continue to work.
