A worker dies when he falls from a roof in Eibar
- The 60-year-old worker worked for the company Projects and Reforms Leire, which works in the Alavesa Provincial Council. The operator, who worked on the deck of a pavilion to repair leaks, has precipitated from a height of five meters. So far this year there are 14 deaths in the work accident, of which five have fallen high.
The accident took place on the morning of 28 March, about 11:15 in the morning. The worker fell from high and was transferred by emergency services to the Donostia Hospital in San Sebastian. At 17:00, the news of his death has been made known.
The LAB union has pointed out on social networks, about the death of the fallen in height: It is a "type of occupational accident that is absolutely avoidable if appropriate measures are taken". And he adds: "This bleeding has its responsibility," said the Minister of Health.
