Naked and tied a worker in December at the Hotel du Palais in Biarritz
- A rookie cook was attacked in the hotel's kitchen and remained naked and tied for several hours in a chair. The Baiona Public Prosecutor’s Office investigates what happened.
A worker at the Hotel du Palais de Biarritz (Lapurdi) was harassed on 2 December, while working on wages. According to the information published, the laborer is a novice cook who suffered an attack in the kitchen for several hours naked and tied.
His cooks and the chef, at least, were there during the attack. After stripping a rookie cook, he was tied to a chair. They put a carrot in his back cheeks and put an apple in his mouth. In addition, they recorded all of this and spread it through social media.
After this attack, after several weeks, the principal cook was fired. According to Sud Ouest and Berria, the Hyatt team, which manages the Hotel du Palais, wanted to "treat and arrange inside the house" what happened, and in this sense he published the principal cook. The Baiona Prosecutor’s Office (Lapurdi) has now launched a study.
